// Introduction  •  What's my story?

Where do I come from?

I come from Estonia, a small country in Eastern Europe. My childhood was marked by frequent moves, as my parents were quite young when I was born. My mother worked with special needs children, while my father served as a technical assistant at Eesti Telefon, the largest telephone company in Estonia, which later became Telia. Thanks to my father's job, we were fortunate to have our own PC with Windows 95 when I was just four years old. I vividly remember playing games like Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D, and Prehistorik 2 on that computer.

At the age of seven, my parents separated, and I moved in with my mother right before school started. In grades five and six, I excelled in math, even competing in regional math Olympiads. However, once I reached seventh grade, my focus shifted. I started hanging out with friends and often skipped school to spend time behind my PC, particularly enjoying Counter-Strike 1.6, especially its surf mod. This newfound interest led me to explore how the game worked and to learn about server hosting for my own CS 1.6 surf clan.

As I delved deeper into gaming, I began learning about the Source engine and picked up some basics of C/C++ and Windows processes. In 2011, I ventured into game hacking with the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I gained advanced knowledge in game hacking but eventually stepped back due to moral concerns and the increasing prevalence of cheaters, which made the game less enjoyable. This pivot led me to explore web development, where I discovered AngularJS and became a devoted fan, even using the frameworks nowadays.

Nowadays I mostly focus on growing my company and also do a little web development on the side. I consider myself a Senior Full-Stack developer & a Software Engineer. I've built quite a few infrastructures using AWS for various different projects. Since I made my first website in 2007, and also programmed some video game server mods, I would say that I have a wide array of skills that I can easily apply to my work every day. I don't limit myself to coding only, I can also edit pictures and videos, design stuff, copywrite etc.
